Payment Due Date
- Property tax invoices are in the mail by July 1, and are billed in two installments.
- First half installment is due in person at City Hall or postmarked by November 1st each year.
- The second half installment is due in person at City Hall or postmarked by December 1.
- If the November 1 payment is late, the entire amount becomes due and a penalty is assessed.
- The taxpayer can always make partial payments or full payment prior to November 1.

The penalty rate is 10% of the principal balance owing at the time the due date has passed on each unpaid installment. The interest rate charged is 6% on the unpaid tax, not including penalty from the date due until paid in full. The interest rate is multiplied by the unpaid principal balance and charges accrue monthly.
