Floodplain Information You Need to Know

The City of Dillingham has adopted Floodplain Regulations (DMC 15.04) that require a flood hazard permit before making any changes to improved or unimproved real estate within areas of the city that are within flood hazard areas. 

This includes:

• Mining, Dredging, Filling, Grading, Paving, Excavating;
• Constructing, Constructing an addition to, substantially improving or relocating a structure.
